The XV Annual Meeting of the Italian Chapter of the European Society of Biomechanics (ESB-ITA) will take place in Milano, Italy, on August 31st (full day) and September 1st (half day). Hosted at Politecnico di Milano, the event will be held on the historical Leonardo Campus funded in 1893.
This is the third time the ESB-ITA Annual Meeting is in Milan, after past successful editions in 2018 and in 2015.
The ESB-ITA meeting will comprise both a Thematic Symposium titled “AI-enhanced Biomechanical Modeling: Applications from Research to Bedside”, and the General Meeting.
The Thematic Symposium will focus on cutting-edge applications integrating artificial intelligence and physical-based modelling in biomechanics with a clear focus on clinically-relevant applications and patient-specific case studies. The General Meeting will showcase the latest developments in biomechanics in Italy across a wide range of topics.
The program will include keynote lectures by prominent international scientists, sessions dedicated to mentoring and career for early- and mid-career researchers, as well as projects’ dissemination and networking sessions for senior researchers. Outstanding general and thematic oral/poster presentations, as well as best Master Thesis will also be awarded.
This year the conclusion of ESB-ITA meeting marks also the beginning of the Virtual Physiological Human (VPH) Institute conference, hold in the very same location, a great reason to extend your stay in Milan!
