Award for Master’s Thesis ESB-ITA 2026
Eligibility Requirements:
The master’s thesis must be defended between April 1, 2025, and March 31, 2026, at an Italian university.
Application Procedure:
The application must be submitted by the thesis supervisor via email (to info@esb-ita.it) by April 30, 2026, and must include:
- A reference letter (maximum 2 pages) containing:
- The relevance of the thesis to the research fields of Biomechanics;
- A presentation of the candidate highlighting their specific contribution and final graduation grade;
- In the case of theses with multiple authors, the specific contribution and final grade of each candidate must be specified;
- A PDF copy of the thesis.
Each supervisor may propose only one master’s thesis.
Supervisors are encouraged to nominate students interested in pursuing a research career.
The Scientific Committee of the ESB-ITA 2026 Master’s Thesis Award will select up to three theses to be presented during a special session at the annual conference, during which the winner will be announced.
The three candidates admitted to the special session must register for the conference to compete for the award, and they will be eligible to register for the annual conference at the “early bird” rate, even after the regular deadline.
The winner of the award will be announced during the ESB-ITA 2026 conference, and the prize will consist of free registration for the ESB-ITA 2027 conference.
